AMS Technologies announces that SDS HV has expanded its product range of miniature HV modules with the DA, DE and APD Series. Due to their pulse discharge ability the converters are suitable for applications such as photomultipliers, hybrid photon detectors and gas chromatographs. The modules provide voltages from 0 V to 6 kV and power output up to 6 W with an input voltage of 5 to 24 V. They are available in many different package sizes. Characteristic for all power supplies of SDS HV are the ideal control, the reduced ripple and the mounting on printed circuit boards. The converters can be manufactured according to customer specifications in order to meet requirements such as low or high ambient and operating temperatures, for environments requiring very high precision and short rise times. The integration of a specially developed HV switch allows very fast switching between positive and negative polarity.
