Cynergy3 Components Ltd. has introduced the 2 series sub miniature reed relays, for high voltage isolation in RF applications in the 1-30Mhz range. The reed relays use rhodium contacts in a vacuum environment, offering the best isolation voltage of 1.5kV across contacts, low contact resistance of 200mOhms and optimized lifetime of 1 x 109 dry switching cycles in a 25mm package. The high voltage reed relays are used in applications requiring high switching or isolation voltages, such as test systems, medical systems (e.g. defibrillators), and are available as Form A, Form B or latching switch configurations. The RF reed relays are employed in mobile RF communications systems such as manpack, vehicle based or ship/airplane systems. The new products are available from AMS Technologies throughout Europe from local offices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
