IDT makes offer for Tundra 29-04-09

Actually the whole affair should have been completed: the takeover of the Canadian Tundra by Gennum. In the middle of March 2009 a bid for the purchase of the interface chip specialist was presented. However the American Mixed-Signal chip manufacturer IDT appeared on the scene and made an offer that was 12 percent higher. The agreement between Gennum and Tundra allows Tundra to accept this offer – if Gennum does not make a higher offer by the 1st of May 2009.
