STMicroelectronics announces the availability of the ST7MDT25-DVP3 in-circuit emulator for the ST72561 microcontroller family. This versatile product is the latest in a range of modular ST7 development tools, and it provides start-to-finish development support for automotive, industrial and consumer applications based on the ST72561, including real-time emulation, debugging and in-circuit programming.

The ST7MDT25-DVP3 is priced in the region of $1000 depending on options. ST7 Visual Develop 3.x - the STVD7 integrated software development environment (IDE) - is a free download from the ST website. It combines build and programming features with proven debug tools to provide a complete development system within a common graphical user interface. Additional software support for the DVP3 is also provided by a range of other tools for editing, compiling, debugging and programming, both from ST and from third parties.
