Evervision Electronics launched the 5.7” QVGA/VGA High Brightness TFT series with backlight driver. The driver has got the same JST Connector which is used by TFT suppliers in the market. Pin out and function is compatible to the Japanese industrial standard. Backlight brightness is 700cd/m² at LED lifetime of 40000 hrs (min.) respectively 50000 hrs (typ.) at 25°C.

To meet the requests for minimizing self heating effect or lowering power consumption, this series offers a dip switch on PCB, which allows to set 100/75/50% of backlight current. This feature also is welcome in case of multiple use and different brightness’s are needed, but PWM dimming is not given by the application. Available options are resistive Touchpanel and Anti Reflection Polarizer (AR).

Semicustomized modifications can be offered starting from 1000 pcs per shipping lot. The type’s VGG322426-7UFLWD (QVGA) and VGG644804-6UFLWD (VGA) already reached mass production stage, samples are available.
