Industrial Ethernet switch connecting up to 16 ports 26-06-09

ACAL Technology are sampling a industrial Ethernet switch from Harting, which connects up to 16 ports in a 120 x 105.4mm footprint. Combining small footprints with auto-negotiation, auto-polarity and auto-crossing functions for plug and play installation, the eCON 2160-A is designed for high-demand industrial networks. The unmanaged switch operates in store and forward switching mode and integrates a LED on each port for fast network diagnostics. Supporting data rates of 10Mbit/s and 100Mbit/s, the devices features IP30 protection and withstands shock and vibration in accordance with IEC 60 068.

A package height of 25.5mm makes the eCON 2160-A suitable for use in flat control cabinets whilst its mechanical attachment design allows it to be mounted on, or dismounted from, standard 35mm top-hat rails without tools. ACAL Technology’s in-house assembly facilities provide additional options for cable assembly, plus rack and enclosure manufacturing to further simplify installation. Samples can be requested.
