Infineon: Development centre in Bucharest now officially opened 19-01-06

Infineon has now officially opened a development centre in the Rumanian capital Bucharest. It was founded in April last year and now employs a development staff of 60. In Bucharest work is being carried out on power semiconductors with analogue and digital functions for automobile and industrial applications as well as safety controllers and chip cards. The centre belongs to Infineon Technologies Romania and is a subsidiary of Infineon Austria. In this year a further 60 development staff are to be taken on.
