Infineon: results for the 2nd quarter 2010 29-04-10


The turnover of Infineon in the 2nd quarter of the 2010 business year was 1.035 billion Euro which is 10% above the value of Q1/2010 and 55% above that of the comparable period of the previous year. For the reported period, the company reported a profit of 79 million Euro. This is 20% more than in the previous quarter. In Q2/2009 there had been a company loss of 258 million Euro.

 

 

Results according to business segments (in comparison to Q2/2009)

 

  • Automotive: turnover 316 million Euro (+67%), segment profit: 51 million Euro
  • Industrial & Multimarket: turnover 315 million Euro (+63%), segment profit: 59 million Euro
  • Chip cards/security turnover 99 million Euro (+24%), segment profit: 3 million Euro)
  • Wireless: turnover 267 million Euro (+31%), segment profit: 9 million Euro
