Infineon to close Chip production in Munich Perlach 25-02-05

The lights go out in 2007

By 2007 Infineon will close its chip manufacturing in Munich-Perlach. At present approximately 800 people are employed there. A large part of the production will be moved to Regensburg and a smaller part will be transferred to Villach. The works at Perlach, which were founded more than 20 years ago as a research facility, will be used mainly for HF components.
