International Rectifier offers testing services 16-03-09

International Rectifier has announced that its HiRel Business Unit has launched Testing Services to customers seeking critical electrical, reliability and qualification testing. IR’s new suite of testing services addresses the growing need for electrical and environmental testing of hermetic and non-hermetic (plastic) components required by customers in a range of high reliability market segments.

The breadth of IR’s standard offerings includes a wide combination of electrical testing, die services, quality compliance, device evaluation, environmental testing, and packaging services for MOSFETs, diodes, IGBTs, bipolar transistors and power ICs housed in a broad range of industry-standard packages. Radiation testing is offered as a non-standard offering. In addition to standard offerings, custom requests are reviewed for consideration.

Services are performed in IR’s 68,000 ft2, JANS, Class K, ISO4001, ISO9001, and AS9100 certified facility in Leominster, Massachusetts. The state-of-the-art facility designs and manufactures IR’s discrete components, power modules and motor controllers for high reliability applications.
