IPextreme, a company for IP to system-on-chips, has named Rick Tomihiro as vice president of marketing, reporting directly to CEO and president Warren Savage. In his new position, he will be responsible for all corporate, technology and product marketing strategies. Immediately prior to joining IPextreme, he was director of marketing at Mentor Graphics. Before that, he worked for IPCore Technologies, Synopsys, NexGen Technologies, Chips and Technologies, Tandem Computers, and STC Computer Research.
