From september 27th - 28th 2005 the first International Symposium on Macro Fiber Composite Applications ISMA 2005 will be held in Dresden, Germany. The aim of the symposium is to give an overview of the current status of the design-in of MFCs in commercial applications including: aerospace, automotive, machinery and equipment, sporting goods, building and structures, as well as available electronic components and software tools for designing new applications. Open discussions during parallel workshops will give engineers, designers and researchers the opportunity to exchange ideas and contact other interested partners for the collabration of new marketable products.
