C&D Technologies has added 5V and 12V input voltage versions to its NDTS and NDTD series of isolated DC/DC converters. The NDTS series provides a single output while the NDTD series offers a dual output. All devices have a  2:1 input voltage range. Maximum achievable output power is 3W at 85ºC, and can be achieved without any external heatsinking.

NDTS and NDTD DC/DC converters have an internal SMD construction, are RoHS compliant, and use UL94V-0 approved package materials. The product family offers versions with input voltages of 5, 12, 24 and 48V, and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15V. All the devices have continuous short circuit protection, 1kVDC isolation, and utilise a flyback oscillator design with isolated feedback.

The converters have overall dimensions of 32.36mm x 14.66mm x 7mm and an operating temperature range of –40ºC to +85ºC.
