An initiative with the name SecIE (Security und Administration in Industrial Ethernet) has been founded by Dehof ingenieur+technik, DS Data Systems, Hima, Nortel, PerFact and Weidmüller. Its aim is to further the standardization of security technologies in the industrial Ethernet.
