The research and office buildings of the Nanoelectronic Materials Laboratory gemeinnützige GmbH have been opened on the campus of the TU Dresden. The NaMLab has been established by a participation of the Technical University with Qimonda. The Joint Venture is researching on innovations for memory cells of DRAMS and Flashs. Research emphasis will be on nano-electronic materials. 27 Employees are to work there. The construction of the research building at a cost of 5 m Euro was supported by the Sächsischen Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst as well as by sums from the EU Structural Fund.
