Keithley Instruments Reports 25 Percent Sales Growth 30-04-10


Keithley Instruments posted net sales of $29.8 million and net income of $4.1 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. These results compare to net sales of $24.0 million and a net loss of $10.3 million in the year-ago quarter. Net sales of $29.8 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 increased $5.9 million, or 25 percent from net sales of $24.0 million in last year’s second quarter, and sequentially increased $1.4 million, or five percent from the first quarter of fiscal 2010. Net sales outside of the Americas represented over 70 percent of total net sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2010.
