Kemet forms Advanced Technology Group 20-12-06

Kemet announces the creation of an Advanced Technology Group that will act as an incubator for the identification and proliferation of electronic capacitance technology. This new department will be led by Dr. Philip Lessner, who is being promoted to Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist. In addition to developing burgeoning technologies and processes in the industry, the Advanced Technology Group will assist Kemet in evaluating alliances and acquisition prospects, as well as establishing relationships with complementary technology, educational and research institutions. Kemet provides capacitance solutions, including surface-mount capacitor technologies across tantalum, ceramic and solid aluminum dielectrics.
