Christian Schubert, up to now the managing director of the Kontron Embedded Modules GmbH in Deggendorf and thus responsible for the former Jumptec Group, has now joined the congatec Ag as the Chairman of the Board. He takes on the duties of the former board member Christian Eder who will now focus on marketing, as he did previously at Jumptec and Kontron.

The group that founded congatec AG at the start of 2005 all come from the “Deggendorfer part” of the Kontron AG – the former Jumptec. The new startup is financed by Heinz Iglhaut and Hans Mühlbauer - Ex-Execs at Jumptec and Kontron. Currently one product is ready at congatec: a lead-free EXT board with STPC.
