Kontron has named Ulrich Gehrmann as new Vice Chairman. The 47-years old Gehrmann has been with the company since 2000 and was in charge of the EMEA operational division. In his new function he will lead the finance section. This post became vacant when his predecessor Charles Newcomb left the company. Newcomb was elected to the finance committee in October 2004 and was meant to "Set the points for the North American capital market”. At present, Kontron is no longer interested in a US listing.
