Kontron will take over Intel’s Communication Rackmount Server Business Division for an undisclosed sum. This comprises System and Server products for Telecom and IP networks. The Business Division is situated in South Carolina, USA and in Penang, Malasia with approximately 70 employees, and, according to Kontron’s expectations, will achieve sales of more than 40 million US$ in 2009.
