Lantiq announced that Michael Thompson has joined the company as Senior Vice President and head of the worldwide sales organization. Over the course of his career he worked with communication companies including Motorola and Freescale, where he spent significant time in Hong Kong developing sales in Asia Pacific. In addition to these experiences, most recently he was responsible for AMD’s worldwide handset semiconductor sales. Thompson will be based at Lantiq’s headquarters in Neubiberg, Germany just outside of Munich.
