Lattice Semiconductor announced financial results for the third quarter 2009. The revenue was $49.1 million, an increase of 5% from the $46.9 million reported in the prior quarter, and a decrease of 15% from the $57.6 million reported in the same quarter a year ago. FPGA revenue for the third quarter was $15.2 million, a decrease of 12% from the $17.2 million reported in the prior quarter, and a decrease of 8% from the $16.5 million reported in the same quarter a year ago. PLD revenue for the third quarter was $33.9 million, an increase of 14% from the $29.7 million reported in the prior quarter, and a decrease of 18% from the $41.2 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.

Net loss for the third quarter was $4.1 million, compared to a prior quarter net loss of $2.7 million and a net loss of $7.0 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.
