Lattice Semiconductor announced financial results for the second quarter 2011. The revenue was $83.9 million, an increase of 2% from the $82.6 million reported in the prior quarter, and an increase of 9% from the $77.1 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.

FPGA revenue for the second quarter was $27.9 million, a decrease of 11% from the $31.2 million reported in the prior quarter, and an increase of 13% from the $24.6 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.

PLD revenue for the second quarter was $56.0 million, an increase of 9% from the $51.4 million reported in the prior quarter, and an increase of 7% from the $52.5 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.

Net income for the second quarter was $13.0 million, compared to a prior quarter net income of $10.9 million and net income of $16.7 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.
