LED: Zenaro Lighting GmbH founded 26-08-10

Following the official launch of the Zenaro Lighting Alliance in April 2010 - a global company alliance between founding members Everlight Electronics (Taiwan), LCC (Germany) and Aphos Lighting (USA) that was established to confront the future challenges of the global lighting market by bundling the members' LED technology and lighting expertise - the foundation of a new company Zenaro Lighting GmbH was announced today.

Zenaro Lighting GmbH with headquarters in Kamp-Lintfort/Germany will develop and sell LED luminaires and systems specifically for the market segments consumer/lifestyle, office, street and parking lots, as well as LED retrofits and other accessories such as power supplies and light engines. Furthermore, there are plans to set up a manufacturing facility for LED luminaires at Kamp-Lintfort.

Starting with an initial focus on the German and European markets, Zenaro Lighting GmbH will later on expand its operations internationally by leveraging the existing infrastructure of today's Zenaro Lighting Alliance partners in Taiwan, China and USA and of additional alliance members in the future. The initial investment to found Zenaro Lighting GmbH amounts to 4 Million Euros. Co-founder of the new company is Hans-Dieter Wustlich, founder and previous owner of Wustlich Opto-Elektronik GmbH.
