Fairchild Semiconductor announces the FPF250X series, a family of load switches with input voltages ranging from 4.5V up to 20V. These devices provide protection against potentially damaging overcurrent conditions affecting low-power designs including industrial, telecom, medical, notebook and consumer applications. The FPF250X devices simplify design by integrating a 0.23 Ohm current-limited N-channel MOSFET with protection and control features such as thermal shutdown, controlled turn-on and undervoltage lockout, into a SOT23 package.
