Magma revenue for first quarter 2009 01-09-08


Magma Design Automation, a provider of chip design software, reported revenue of $45.7 million for its first quarter of fiscal 2009, compared to revenue of $50.2 million reported for the first quarter of fiscal 2008. In accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Magma reported a net loss of $14.9 million, compared to a net loss of $11.3 million, for the first quarter of fiscal 2008.
