Magnum Semiconductor announced the appointment of Gopal Solanki as the company's new president and Chief Executive Officer. Solanki takes over as CEO from Jack Guedj, who left the company and started at Tensilica as CEO. Solanki comes from NVIDIA, where he was most recently the senior vice president for the chipset business. He has also held engineering and management positions at Weitek Corporation and Intel Corporation.
