The MeasComp, to be held this year in Wiesbaden, will be the last of its kind. From 2006 the trade fair will be integrated into the “Sensor” held by the AMA Trade Association in Nuremberg. The "Sensor and Test” has been help every two years since 1982. It will combine with the MeasComp organised every year in Wiesbaden by the Network since 1987. The Sensor + Test will take place this year as planned from 10 – 12 May in Nuremberg. The farewell event of the MeasComp will be held as usual in Wiesbaden from 27 – 29 September. In September 2004, the MeasComp had already taken a step in the direction of sensors and opened an additional hall for this field. The new concept of the AMA is now meant to combine the MeasComp, the Sensor and the congress fair O.M.P (Congress Fair for Optical and Microtechnical Products). The result from 2006 will be an annual "Sensor — Trade Fair for Measuring and Testing” in Nuremberg.
