MEMS gas flow sensor and capacitative touch sensor 12-04-07

Omron Electronic Components Business Europe is to unveil new additions to its range of gas flow sensors, and capacitative touch sensors. The D6F-V gas flow sensor is a more compact and lower cost addition to its air velocity sensor family, designed to detect clogged air intake filters and general air flows in office equipment and HVAC systems. There are over 20 different D6F gas and air flow sensor models, to detect the speed and mass flows of non corrosive gases at flow rates from 1 mm/s to 40 m/s or 1 LPM to 50 LPM respectively. The B6TS range of capacitative touch sensors is widely used in control applications from consumer appliances to lifts and building automation. B6TS sensors can be integrated into a control surface of almost any shape made from non-conductive materials, giving much greater freedom in the design of the appearance of the system.
