Mentor Graphics buys Valor 13-10-09


Mentor Graphics will acquire Valor, a provider of productivity improvement software solutions for the printed circuit board manufacturing supply chain. Under the terms of the agreement, Valor shareholders will receive a combination of Mentor Graphics common shares and cash for aggregate consideration of approximately $82 million, equating to approximately $4.60 per Valor share.

 

The transaction is expected to close during the first calendar quarter of 2010, after which Valor will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mentor Graphics. Valor has its headquarter in Israel and announced a 2008 reveue of $40.4 million and a net income of $490.000. The first half year of 2009 ended with a revenue of $18.2 million and a net income of $1.9 million
