Mentor Graphics announced fiscal second quarter revenue of $182.4 million. The revenue in Q2/2008 was $209.9 million. The net loss was $17.2 million. The company made two acquisitions in the quarter. It acquired substantially all of the assets of Ponte Solutions to extend the company’s Calibre DFM product line. The company also acquired Flomerics, a provider of thermal simulation and analysis tools. Two month ago Mentor rejects a proposal from Cadence.
