Micrel names head of analog business unit 15-04-09


Micrel announced that David Schie, Vice President of Analog Design and R&D, has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Analog Business Unit. Schie will also continue in his role heading up Analog Engineering. In his new role, he will have profit and loss responsibility for Micrel's Analog Business Unit. The Company's analog business accounts for more than two-thirds of the Company's revenues worldwide. Schie joined Micrel in May, 2007. Before that, he worked for Maxim Integrated Products, Supertex, ESG and Linear Dimensions Semiconductor.
