Micrel: new chief for Analog Engineering 01-06-07


Micrel announced the hiring of David Chalmers Schie as the Company's new Vice President of Analog Design Engineering/R&D. Mr. Schie will be responsible for overseeing the definition, design, development and release of Micrel's Analog product line which accounts for more than two-thirds of the Company's revenues worldwide. Prior to joining Micrel, he was an Executive Director for Maxim Integrated Products responsible for operating design centers. Prior to working at Maxim, he held key high level engineering management positions with several high tech semiconductor companies including Vice President & Corporate Officer at Supertex.
