Micrel, a developer of analog, high bandwidth communications and Ethernet IC solutions, announced the appointment of Scott Ward to Vice President, Analog Business Unit. Ward was formerly Vice President of Micrel's Test Division. In his new role, he will report directly to Ray Zinn, President and CEO. The Company's analog business accounts for more than two-thirds of the Company's revenues worldwide. Ward joined Micrel in 1999. Prior to joining Micrel, he was employed by QuickLogic Corporation as Vice President of Engineering. Before that, he was employed by National Semiconductor Corporation, where he held various Product Line Director positions in the Analog Division.
