Laird Technologies announced a micro-miniature antenna which which is 96 mm³. Its performance is > 2 dB peak gain across 2.4 – 2.5 GHz and > 3 dB peak gain across 4.9 – 6.0 GHz. Its weight is 0.21 grams and it operates across a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The antenna is ideal for many wireless device applications including 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and UWB.
