Microchip opens Design Centre in Romania 23-04-07

Microchip announces the inauguration of a new Design Centre in Bucharest, Romania. Microchip has initially recruited 15 staffers, with a total of 30 jobs planned by the end of 2008 and 100 over the next four years. The centre forms part of Microchip’s worldwide network of Design Centres located in India, Switzerland, California and Arizona (USA). Microchip’s product range also includes analog & interface products, which focus on power and thermal management, as well as EEPROM memory products for embedded applications.
