Motorola sells industrial circuit board business to Emerson

Emerson is taking over the Embedded Communications Computing (ECC) business segment of Motorola for 350 m US$ in cash. ECC develops and sells Industrial computers in the form factors AdvancedTCA, CompactPCI, MicroTCA, PMC as well as VMEbus and employed 1 100 people with a turnover in 2006 of approximately 520 m US$. The business segment will be incorporated into Emerson Network Power.
