Motorola wants to dispose of its automobile electronics segment 19-09-05

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Motorola is looking for a buyer for its "Automotive and Industrial Electronics Group, AIEG". AIEG is a part of the “Integrated Electronics Systems” company segment and develops and produces drive train, chassis and body electronics and sensors. The aim is to realize between 1 and 2 billion US$. The group had a turnover last year of 1.68 b US$ (Motorola overall: 3.13 b US$) and employs approximately 500 people.
