MSC takes over Able Design 26-03-08

The MSC Vertriebs GmbH in Stutensee, Germany has acquired the majority shareholding of Able Design, a company founded in 1994 for the marketing of modules with TFT electro-luminance and plasma displays. Able is situated in Munich and also develops customer-specific display solutions and in 2007 achieved a turnover of 4.5 m Euro with 12 employees. Able is to be managed as a mainly independent company under its own name. The managing director, Gert H. von Steinaecker will remain at the helm for the next three years. The association of companies made up of MSC Vertriebs GmbH and Gleichmann & Co. Electronics GmbH was founded in 1979 and markets electronic modules in Europe. The purchase price was not made public.
