Nanocrystalline Common Mode Chokes 13-05-05

Vacuumschmelze (VAC) has developed a new standard series of common mode chokes with nanocrystalline VITROPERM cores. Due to their broadband attenuation characteristic these chokes are particularly suitable for use in switched mode power supplies, solar converters, UPS or for frequency drives. The series consists of single phase CMC for rated currents from 2A to 32A and open, non-moulded 3-phase chokes for rated currents from 6A to 40A. The chokes are designed for operating voltages from 250V or 500V in compliance with the EN 50178 and EN 60950 safety-related standards. All chokes are manufactured according to the 2002/95/EC ROHS directives. A set of selected common mode standard chokes and nanocrystalline tape-wound cores have been assembled in the so-called EMC Kit which is available from now.
