National Semiconductor has appointed Jennifer J. Bleakney as vice president of worldwide distribution and customer support. Bleakney will be responsible for the development and execution of National's channel marketing and distribution asset management strategy. She joins National from Maxim Integrated Products where she served as executive director of worldwide distribution. Previously, Bleakney held management positions in sales and marketing at International Rectifier serving most recently as vice president of business development. Prior to that, she spent 17 years at Future Electronics in product marketing and strategic business development.
