The .NET integration supports C#, J# and VB.NET with its own .NET object containing all needed methods, registers and constants for the driver access. The .NET support is part of the standard card package as are the Windows and Linux drivers and the examples for Visual C++, Borland C++ Builder, Borland Delphi, Visual Basic and LabWindows/CVI. Drivers for LabVIEW, MATLAB and Agilent VEE are available as an option. With this wide support Spectrum gives the user the choice to program with the development environment that fits best and that is best known for him.
This extensive software support is available for more than 150 different board level products. The product range covers digitizers with separate ADCs ranging from 100 kS/s up to 400 MS/s, Arbitrary Waveform Generators up to 125 MS/s as well as digital I/O cards up to 125 MS/s. The analog cards are available with one up to 16 synchronous channels while the digital cards are equipped with up to 64 channels. A common feature of all cards is the synchronous design without any phase delay between the channels caused by multiplexers. All cards come with 256 MByte of on-board memory which can be extended up to 4 GByte. The cards can be equipped with a wide variety of options allowing to fit a wide range of measurement tasks. One highlight between the options is the Star-Hub.
This piggy-back module for the acquisition and generation cards allow it to synchronize several products from the manufacturer within one system or even within different systems. Drivers and examples as well as detailed data sheets and even the complete manuals are available online.
