Cirrus Logic has named Jason Rhode as new CEO. The 37-year old Rhode was previously General Manager of the Mixed-Signal Audio line at the company. He joined Cirrus in 1995 as an analogue development engineer. Rhode succeeds Michael L. Hackworth who has acted since March in an interim capacity and is actually Chairman of the Board. Hackworth filled the post after the contract with the Previous CEO David D. French was ended in March. The reason for this was the results of an investigating commission into irregularities in share transactions.
