From the 3rd April the new CEO at Semtech will be Mohan Maheswaran. He takes over the position from John D. Poe who has been interim chief since September 2005 after the previous CEO Jason L. Carson left the company. Poe will remain Semtech’s Chairman of the board. Maheswaran comes from Intersil where he was in charge of the analogue signal processor segment. There is no successor yet for his position there. He arrived at Intersil through the takeover of Elantec, Before that Maheswaran worked for Allayer Communications, IBM Microelectronics, Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and Nortel Communications.
