Silicon Image, provider of semiconductors and intellectual property for the secure distribution, presentation and storage of high-definition (HD) content, announced the appointment of Camillo Martino as its new CEO. Martino, 47 comes from SAI Technology, a supplier of 4G and security technology solutions to the mobile communications industry. Prior to SAI, he was the president and CEO of Cornice. Before joining Cornice, Martino was with Zoran, where he was COO for approximately four years. Martino also spent nearly 14 years with National Semiconductor.
