New chief for analog marketing at Micrel 06-11-07


Micrel, a developer of analog, high bandwidth communications and Ethernet IC solutions, announced that Andrew Cowell has been named the Company’s new Vice President of Analog Marketing. Cowell will be responsible for overseeing the marketing activities of Micrel’s entire Analog product line, which accounts for more than two-thirds of the Company’s revenues worldwide. He has been with Micrel for nine years. He started at Micrel as the Company’s Marketing and Applications Manager for the power product line. He was more recently the head of Strategic Applications. Prior to coming to Micrel, Cowell worked for Siliconix Semiconductor and Advanced Power Supplies.
