New chief for Arrow EMEASA 28-09-06



Phillippe Combes

At Arrow Electronics, Phillippe Combes will be the new Chief of the EMEASA (Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America) segment from the 1st of October. He replaces Germano Fanelli who has held the position from January 2004. Fanelli will become Chairman of Arrow EMEASA. The 52 year old Combes comes from Gemplus International, a supplier of digital safety technologies. His chief is Mike Long who will take over the newly-created position of President Arrow Global Components.
