From October the new Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Kuka AG will be Dr. Horst J. Kayser. He succeeds Gerhard Wiedemann who will relinquish his post on 30.09.2008 due to age and will continue to act as consultant to March 2009. The 47-year-old Kayser comes from Siemens where he has been in charge of the British Siemens PLC since March. He came to the company in 1996 and, among others, was manager of the Segment of Industrial Automation Systems for 3 years.
