Fairchild Semiconductor has appointed Allan Lam to lead the sales and marketing organization worldwide. He replaces Tom Beaver, who has recently retired from Fairchild Lam has more than 28 years in the industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of Fairchild’s Standard Products Group (SPG), which represents one quarter of the company’s business. His experience includes Vice President of Sales for Vishay Intertechnology Asia and Vice President of their Standard Products Group. He has also held positions in management, quality, marketing, sales and engineering with Temic, BBS Electronics, CiNERGi, SGS-Thomson Microelectronics and National Semiconductor.
