Mips Technologies has promoted Brad Holtzinger to the position of vice president of worldwide sales. Mr. Holtzinger, most recently vice president of sales, succeeds Jack Browne, who assumes the position of vice president of marketing. Mr. Holtzinger joined Mips in 2001 as the director of systems solutions. He began his career at Motorola in 1979 and was one of the founding members of the Motorola Computer Group selling VME boards into the embedded market.  In 1991 he joined Force Computers and established their embedded systems business unit.
